These natural bristle brushes are handmade using bamboo that I grow. It is cured for one year for strength and durability, anticipating years of use. The hair is from deer, squirrel, moose, and the occasional exotics like impala and African derkur. My favorite for most pottery applications is deer, though each type of hair exhibits particular traits that are unique and ideal for specific applications.
Every brush has its own character, and through use its distinctive qualities reveal themselves.
